I didnt’ know I liked books about food, I mean, the closest I really got was to the YEAR IN PROVENCE books by Peter mayle. Honestly, UNDER THE TUSCAN SUN just didn’t do it for me.
But there are some good books coming out of our own chefs stateside that mix writing with info with (sometimes) recipes. I’m going to give this one you recommend a whirl! And then, maybe give it as a gift. I just finished reading an ARC copy of a book by an NYC pastry chef. I loved it.
I love such “bookish” surprises!
Thanks for this one.
