The Ultimate Triple Protein Sandwich

It’s easy. It’s cheap. It’s the perfect sandwich for home. I say home because tuna-anything is never welcomed in the workplace.

Here’s the breakdown:

1 LONG SEEDLESS CUCUMBER
4-6 STALKS OF CELERY
HANDFUL OF FRESH CILANTRO
1 CAN OF TUNA
2-4 TB OF MAYO
2-3 TB OF DILL RELISH
6 GRINDS OF PEPPER
5 SHAKES OF THE GARLIC SALT
4 BOILED EGGS
* This makes 2-3 sandwiches. Cut this in half if you are making this for one person.

So, as you boil your eggs, start chopping up the cucumber, celery and cilantro. Mix. Add can of tuna (drain tuna can water), mayo, dill relish, pepper, and garlic salt. When the eggs are done, slice and mix. If you are trying to be good- just use the egg whites and use garlic powder vs. garlic salt.

Other Notes:
*My husband and I have tried lots of tuna, but we really like buying the Trader Joe’s Albacore Solid White Tuna in water, no salt added (red label).
*For a final touch I usually add some hummus and baby spinach on the bread it’s being served with.
